Cecil Howell is an artist and designer, with a practice that incorporates visual art, mapping, and landscape architecture. Her work is rooted in the study of place: how it emerges, what it entangles, and how we can re-imagine it. Growing up in the woods of New York, her love of land is rooted in childhood walks through the forest, observing a successive ecosystem regenerating over remnant stone walls and farmlands.
